Love Local, Support Local

 

Supporting local businesses is every single one’s responsibility especially during the current situation that we’re facing at the moment. People with businesses nowadays keep achieving their dreams and goals no matter the situation here in our country “Lebanon”.

 

 

Our journey with supporting small businesses 

 

My twin and I, as content creators on social media platforms, we always receive messages and requests from several local businesses to support their pages. So of course, we agree without thinking twice, and every week we dedicate a day and a section on our stories to post about these pages and what they do and what they offer on our platform. 

Also, we receive a lot of gifts from their business page, that we enjoy and appreciate so much, then we post it on our story and we talk about it with a touch of love and support. Therefore, these brands get more exposure then more orders.

 

How can we help small businesses?

 

We can do this everyday in our life and on a daily basis. Let me start by giving you examples about how we can do this: like when I go to the supermarket, I always search for local brands that offer food, for example I would rather buy “Ghandour” instead of “Oreo”, “Sohat” instead of “Evian”, “Master” instead of “Lays”, “Poppins” instead of “Kellogg’s” and so on.

 

Also can we agree that the taste of “Unica Ghandour” is so special and unique, and it’s my favorite. Plus can we agree that everything purchased from local brands tastes better and has a smell from home. Therefore, if every single one of us thinks this way, Lebanese local brands will move forward to reach the word, so this step helps a lot.

 

Like I said before, even though Lebanon is a small country, but its people work so hard. Thus, Lebanese local brands are abounding day after day, so if we wanted to, we can at least purchase our groceries from their brands. Also nowadays, there is a big variety in the Lebanese market, so we can find what we search about.,

 

By achieving all steps below, we, as Lebanese people, are boosting the national industry in our country, as well as encouraging people to love, support, trust  and buy local.

 

Several steps to grow your business

 

If you have a  small business, here’s some steps to help you boost your business:

  • Create a social media account to let people know about you.
  •       Stay active and post every day.
  •       Send gifts to social media influencers who tag you on their page, so you get more followers plus more orders.
