The local businesses’ magnet to success
“A big business starts small.” This saying can’t be more true. And for a business to grow, support is all it needs. What kind of support we can do, as consumers, to support local businesses?
First of all, social media. People nowadays, especially during the pandemic, spend most of their times on their phones scrolling on Instagram and Facebook, posting, stalking, ordering, and shopping. Therefore, the most successful way to support a local business now is an advertisement on social media. The advertisement is more effective in holidays when people tend to do holiday shopping or search for places to go. We can post images of their products/ services, share their posts, tag them, and ask our friends and family to follow them. In that way, they will get a larger audience and therefore more consumers.
In a second place, we can write good reviews by sharing our personal experience with them. For example, for a restaurant, we can talk about the quick service, the delicious food, the good customer service, the lovely atmosphere, its view…etc. we should of course include photos. Pictures mostly attract readers.
Finally, we can give the business’ owners our own opinion concerning their service by messaging them. For example, we can advise them to do an opening and be involved in it. In this way we will help in its progress.
A local business is a goal a person tried a lot to achieve. Hand in hand, we can help each other succeeding.
