Artistic Stitches: It’s all in the details
What started as a hobby became a small business for Fedross Santina. For her, sewing had always been her passion and she had always had a creative and artistic ability since a very young age. Sewing helped her solve her problems; it was her haven. It was a hobby, an intimate activity.
As the pandemic spread and the economic crisis took place, Fedross was pushed into starting her small business which took the name of “Artistic Stitches”. Its purpose was to be handmade with love and had the motto: perfection in work. She decided that embroidery could be her signature and went for it. Artistic Stitches launched its series of embroidered masks due to demand and necessity. Her masks can fit all sizes and, of course, are customized; whatever design you want, she makes it happen. Artistic Stitches included the suitable pattern for a better experience. As a step forward, she added to the masks’ collection accessories such as small bags, tote bags, scrunchies, clutches and much more. As a future strategy, Artistic Stitches plans to launch its own line in fashion.
With LIFE project by USAID, Artistic Stitches has better chances in succeeding and having more reach and becoming international through Watani digital platform.
