Turmeric is soothing, detoxifying, exfoliating. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and antioxidant effects and can lighten pigmentation and naturally promote glowing, smooth skin. It also slows the skin aging process and is used to diminish wrinkles, keep skin supple, and improve skin elasticity.

White Kaolin Clay is one of the mildest and purest of all-natural clays. It can be used on even the most sensitive skin. Since it does not draw oils from the skin, it can be used on dry skin and it gently cleans, exfoliates, and eliminates clogged pores, while improving circulation.

The Routine
To use: Take 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of mask and mix with an equal amount of the liquid of your choice (rosewater, bloom water, honey, water). Create a thin paste and apply it to the face, avoiding the area around the eyes. Allow to dry for about 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Please note that slight discoloration of the skin due to turmeric is normal and temporary. If this occurs, simply cleanse your face with soap. Turmeric can stain clothing and surfaces, so use with care.
