It is a portrait of places with cultural similarities that are recognized as eastern. The mosque, the clothes, the religion, etc. of which some of the descriptions of fits Lebanon. The drawing gives a good mood, a humoristic approach, and especially a decomplexed idea of the Arabian city without the classic racist clichés that are usually associated to these places. So the drawing works as a statement in a way, which message could range from funkiness to pride of belonging to this kind of place.
